Jake - Adopted

Jake is a friendly, easygoing 10-year-old pup with plenty of personality and energy. He came to the shelter after his owner moved and could no longer care for him, but he has a history of living well with a teenager and getting along with other dogs. Volunteers describe him as an affectionate "teddy bear" who loves pets, snuggles, and spending time with people. He's easy to leash and walk, enjoys leisurely strolls, and has a playful, chatty nature that makes him a joy to be around.

Jake currently shares his kennel with another dog and has been social, tolerant, and relaxed during playgroup, though he'd like to meet any resident dogs before going home. While he's a senior, he still has lots of spunk and would thrive in a home that can provide regular walks, playtime, and plenty of opportunities to relax with his family. Jake is ready to find a loving retirement home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by companionship and care.
