Cruz

Cruz is a distinguished senior pitizen who is looking for a retirement home! During a two-week foster stay Cruz did well with other dogs and loved to nap anywhere comfy he could find. He has great leash manners, loves squeaky toys, slept in a crate overnight, and was housebroken overall (everyone needs time to adjust!). Cruz’s foster described him as super friendly, mellow, cuddly at times, and said that he’s a sweetheart who deserves a good home.

Here's what one volunteer at the shelter said:

“Cruz is a calm, easy, lovable boy who is easy to leash up, strolls along nicely, takes treats gently, meets new people easily, enjoys being touched, and is polite and friendly. He’s even patient and well-behaved when being examined in the clinic. This social butterfly thoroughly loves people and you can’t spend enough time with him – he’s always eager to see everyone and will hang out with you 24/7 if he has his way. And he especially likes it if he gets the chance to dip his toes in the kiddie pool followed by a picnic with lots of snacks!”

Cruz has been social, tolerant and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He needs to have some old man lumps and bumps removed and would love to find a home with a family committed to his continued health. Please ask to meet Cruz today!!
