Dolce

Dolce is a loving, well-mannered 2 year old who has proven to be an excellent house guest. She is house- and crate-trained, behaves beautifully when left home alone, and enjoys a cozy routine of snuggling with her people before settling into her own dog bed for the night. Dolce is also a fantastic travel companion—a true “passenger princess” who appreciates a little help getting into the car and rides calmly as an attentive copilot. Food-motivated and eager to please, she is obedient, respectful, and even impresses with her ability to catch treats tossed from almost any angle.

Shelter volunteers describe Dolce as mellow, affectionate, and incredibly easy to spend time with. She walks politely on a loose leash, takes treats gently, and loves attention, belly rubs, and chin scratches. While she enjoys relaxing and soaking up affection, she also has a playful side and especially loves games of tug. Friendly with new people and full of charm—including an adorable loud snore—Dolce is the complete package: cuddly, fun, smart, and social. She would like to meet any potential canine roommates before adoption and is ready to spend her golden years as a cherished member of a loving family.
