Zazu
Zazu is a shy but sweet dog who has been steadily building confidence since arriving at the shelter. During a two-week foster stay, he proved to be house-trained, crate-trained, low energy, and excellent with other dogs. Although initially nervous, he quickly bonded with his foster, becoming a curious, goofy companion who loved following them around the house. Because he can jump fences, he should always be kept on a leash when outside.
Volunteers have seen Zazu make great progress, noting that he is becoming more comfortable on walks, enjoys spending time with his kennelmate, and is beginning to seek out gentle affection from people. He would thrive in a calm, patient home that allows him to adjust at his own pace, and he would likely benefit from having a confident canine companion to help him continue growing into the loving dog he’s meant to be.
